Postal Service

We have all complained about the USPS and justifiably so.

What’s the difference between a chess player and a postal worker?
A chess player moves every now and then.

A women took a package to the post office to mail and was told it would cost $2.40 for fast delivery or $1.30 for slower service. “There is no hurry,” she told the clerk, “just so the package is delivered in my lifetime.” The postmaster glanced at her and said, “That will be $2.40 please.”

On September 11th while visiting the Polish lighthouse noted in my blog of 10/28/14, Nancy mailed a postcard of it to the office. (I love the line I just read, “Tom climbed to heaven…the top.”) The postcard arrived on 12/20/14. I guess the Polish postal service makes the USPS look good.
