How to train your brain to be happy

Research shows creating positive habits can help you become happier, and in turn more successful, says Shawn Achor, CEO of Good Think. To train your brain to be happy, spend two minutes a day writing about a positive experience you had in the 24 hours prior, exercise for 10 minutes a day and send an appreciative e-mail each morning to a family member or friend, he writes.
